This file is all you need if you have version 1.9.14 or greater already installed. If your version of ITA is prior to version 1.9.14, then download the most recent full ITA install file, and make a full install. For those with ITA version 1.9.14 to 1.9.17, the update file is sufficient BUT the updated manual should be downloaded if possible. ITA VERSION 1.10.26 of June 2008 Adjust the reporting test method for Microsoft Word. ITA VERSION 1.10.25 of May 2008 Adjust the way the the wireline and independent accelerometer analysis work, removing unnecessary scripting commands for parameters. ITA VERSION 1.10.24 of May 2008 Adjust the way the SEGD to SEGY transcription utilities work, fixing bugs. Add multiplier for the ground force signal in the wireline analysys form. ITA VERSION 1.10.23 of May 2008 Adjust the way the file parameter window is displayed for instrument and vibrator test analysis, and the way windows are called. No visible difference for the user, just software adjustment. Add multiple SEGD to SEGY transcription utilities, to enable coping with difficult SEGD files. ITA VERSION 1.10.22 of February 2008 Add the capability for minimal plots and start-time analyses to the independent accelerometer vibrator data window. The new version of R_D2Y has basic error-handling for non-standard SEGD. Remove independent accelerometer analysis for standard ITA. Added capability to use older version of R_D2Y, plus new R_D2YX for difficult SEGD files. The older version will fail for non-standard SEGD files, so can be used as a simple test for SEGD file readability.The new version R_D2YX will transcribe non-standard SEGD (at least those so far discovered!) so is an emergency transcription utility. Selecting a file automatically selects the traces and FFID numbers Add automatic IEEE file format set for Aram24 systems where SEGY files are taken from hard drive. Add file format and descale multiplier change capability to the main ITZ interface window. ITA VERSION 1.10.8 of 13TH June 2006 ITZ version 2.376 and ITZWIRE version 1.109 included. Changes to the graphics output files. Now these are emf rather than wmf, for enhanced metafiles with image size information. Changes to the way ITA handles specialist analyses for relative senstitivity and gun near-field sensor analysis. TestView build 12th June 2006 includes FFT and/or DFT analysis from CSV files. Two columns of data required, first column is time samples in milliseconds, second column is values in millivolts. Headers should not include value, value items or these will be included with the data entries. Headers should be text descriptions with any values after text. Samples must be based on regular equal time series. Also change the time-series and FFT plots X-axes to conventional standard (first sample considered time zero). ITA VERSION 1.10.7C of 26th February 2006 ITZ version 2.373 included. Changes to Sercel 408 recording system noise specifications, following introduction of the FDU type 2 input modules, December 2005. ITA VERSION 1.10.7B of 18th December 2005 ITA ITZ script interface window now reads problem file information correctly and avoids incorrect first trace, last trace, and sample values. These problems had been due to incorrect reading of the data from the header.txt file, where user titles had numbers that confused ITA. ITA VERSION 1.10.7A of 24th October 2005 Update to include SEGY_Window.exe utility that allows resampling of SEGY files. ITZWIRE relies on the reference and force traces from the segy data files starting at the same point in the sweep, so the reference trace and the force trace are synchronised in time to the same point. The utility SEGY_Window can be used to synchronise timing between files. ITZ 2.369 and ITZWIRE 1.105 are included. SEGY_Window included. ITA configuration file now ITA10_7.cfg ITA VERSION 1.10.6 of 22nd September 2005 ITZ 2.368 bug fixes made correcting phase response and definition for harmonic distortion. ITZWIRE 1.102 now split out from the ITZ instrument test analysis utility, to allow better memory handling for large data sets (long sweeps). ITZ now handles the instrument test data, and ITZWIRE now handles hardwire similarities. ITA wireline interface changed to show where to select the input traces in a more orderly fashion. The FFID selection window, where the user selects FFID's from multiple FFID SEGY files is better defined, both in the instrument test analysis window and the wireline analysis window. Add RESPONSE routine allowing the simple reponse (spectrum and amplitudes) from selected traces and windows. This is useful for comparison of data files (parameter testing, source response, etc.) ITA VERSION 1.10.5 ITZ 2.367 now includes wireline vibrator similarity analysis. The interface for this is included in ITA version 1.10.5 Bug fix to ITZ 2.367 made 5/8/2005 correcting which trace data was read. ITA VERSION 1.10.4 New style integer SEGY to IEEE SEGY conversion utility allowing a descale multiplier to be used. ITA VERSION 1.10.3 Spiking traces now turns OFF default despiking where sample values are found in a file that exceed twice the recording system full-scale input. If the user needs to analyse non-standard files, or files from stacked and correlated data, then selecting the check box for spiking traces will force ITZ to accept all sample values. ITZ version 2.366 included. Now defaults to ignore trace sample that exceed twice the recording system full-scale input. Previously this had to be selected. Note; if ITZ report spiking traces, investigate the cause! ITA VERSION 1.10.2 Sub windows with an input and an output folder now show the contents of the output folder in a small list box. Bug fixes for the graphics viewer. ITZ version 2.365 included. Updated with rotating graphic to show activity (during slow DFT processes). Nearfield gun test analysis now needs no predefined amplitude, uses 66% of the maximum on traces BUT needs only the active traces to bespecified. Minor bugs in Similarity analysis fixed for amplitudes at the fudamental frequency (text file output). ITA VERSION 1.10.1 Major rewrite incorporating a new file folder browse window that enables the user directory to be opened directly. Previously the Windows common dialog (standard file and folder browser) always started in the last window IT remembered, rather than the one the user wanted. Checked fairly thoroughly for bugs, and several minor bugs fixed for the Instrument Test window; remembering the system, preamp gain, analysis method. This version installs only one ITA manual in PDF format, rather than multiple PDF files. The new ITA manual combines all relevant information. ITZ version 2.364 also updated with minor improvement to graphics presentation, plot titles, x-axis labelling, coloured/filled histograms. ITA VERSION 1.9.17 Add capability to remember specific file location folders for all major utilities. Minor bug fixes for text file locations for scripting and test results. (ITZ version 2.363 included, with improved testing for impulse analysis, and better graphic presentation.) ITA VERSION 1.9.16 Add the DMT Summit recording system. (ITZ version 2.362 included, with updates for file names for SEGY file FFID numbers to 10^8. Bug fix for Impulse text results file.) ITA VERSION 1.9.15 Change method of passing files to the SEGD viewer/checker. Adjust the way traces to process are handled in ITZ script file processing. (ITZ version 2.361 included) ITA Manual updated. ITA VERSION 1.9.14 New recording system input box by Input/Output A-Analog box for use with Vectorseis receivers. ITA VERSION 1.9.13 Major new release with extra SEGY file handling capabilities, plus improvements to ITA and the ITZ utilities. ITA bug fixes include correcting the first and last traces, first and last samples, when calling different analyses on the same data file. ITA version 1.9 and above These new releases does not require the un-installation of previous versions of ITA/ITZ ITA VERSION 1.4.6 This release fixes bugs in the way the operating system passes file names. If a folder name has spaces, full stop or other characters, then this caused the ITA program to fail when passing folder names to the underlying ITZ utilities. This problem is overcome with release version 1.4.6 of the ITA executable program. ITA_1_4_6_Install.zip This zip file contains the full installation for ITA version 1.4.6. The installation includes all ITZ utilities, documents and help files, as well as ITA version 1.4.6. There is NO NEED to download the update file ITA_1_4_6_Update.zip ITA_1_4_6_Update.zip This zip file contains the ITA version 1.4.6. executable file only. This file is required for all users who have installed previous version 1.3.xxx ITA files. Unzip the new ITA.exe file and overwrite the previous ITA.exe file in the installation folder. No other changes are needed. example_SEGY_data.zip This file contains SEGD files read from tape. These allow the user to try out ITA processing, without the need to read in any data from tape.
